What Cancer Cannot Do: A Poem
Cancer cannot steal the sun's warm grace, Nor silence laughter's echoing embrace. It cannot dim the stars' celestial light, Or banish hope that shines so ever bright.
It cannot claim the memories we hold dear, The whispered secrets, banishing all fear. The bonds of love, the joy of life's embrace, Remain untouched, in time and in their space.
What can cancer do?
Cancer can inflict pain, it's undeniably true, And challenge our strength, making spirits subdue. It can test our limits, push us to our edge, But it cannot conquer the soul's deep pledge.
How does cancer affect the mind?
It can cloud the mind with worry and with dread, But cannot extinguish the hope held instead. It may bring darkness, yet it cannot obscure, The strength of spirit that will always endure.
What are the early signs of cancer?
While early detection is key in the fight, Cancer cannot steal the power of our might. The vigilance in self-care, a watchful eye, Can increase our chances to live and not die.
What are the stages of cancer?
The stages may progress, the battles may be long, But cancer cannot mute our spirit’s song. It may test our resilience, push us to the brink, Yet the human spirit, its essence never shrinks.
Can cancer be cured?
While cures are sought, and treatments bravely fought, Cancer cannot conquer the love we have caught. The love we share, the connections we embrace, Remain unscathed, in time and in their space.
Cancer may challenge, it may try to control, But it cannot defeat the spirit of the soul. For within us lies strength, a power deep and true, That will overcome, see us safely through.
